You love solving problems and making our customers happy! In short; as a Hire Controller at our Customer Contact Centre in Stockport, you have a versatile and varied job in which you will never become bored! This vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion.

Youwill be responsible for liaising with sales team and other functions to ensure prompt, efficient and reliable service delivery for our customers. You’ll be accepting customer equipment orders over the telephone and via email. Of course, you’ll be collaborating with our depots to ensure that our customers’ orders are fulfilled promptly and effectively. You make the arrangements with the customers and then you make sure that all of the administration that is needed for the rental is done correctly. Your problem solving skills will be invaluable when it comes to meeting our customers’ needs and communicating with external re-hire partners to source any additional equipment.

As an effective Hire Controller in Stockport, your main priority is thinking of the customers’ best interests. This means that you listen carefully to the customers’ wishes and are able to anticipate them well. Furthermore, you are responsible from A to Z that everything is arranged perfectly. Of course, you never miss an opportunity to explain to the customers which additional machines or products could benefit their projects. As an efficient Hire Controller, you will be maintaining regular contact with your customers to check if they have any new requirements and making outbound telemarketing calls to current and prospective customers.

Finally, when the customer has finished with the machines, you’ll be arranging for the collection and return of them and ensuring that the customer has received the best experience possible from Boels Rental!

The orange team in Stockport that you can be a part of consists of three enthusiastic colleagues in various fields. As a Hire Controller within our UK customer Contact Centre in Stockport, your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 0730hrs to 1700hrs. The office is located to the West of Stockport, in Heaton Mersey. It is 1.5 miles from East Didsbury train station and 1 mile from East Didsbury Metrolink.

  • Have a good knowledge of plant machinery and small tools.
